Below you'll find safety information in the event you smell gas or are preparing for a weather emergency.
Immediately put out all smoking materials and other open flames. Do not operate lights, appliances, telephones, or cell phones. Flames or sparks from these sources can trigger an explosion or a fire.
Get everyone out of the building or area where you suspect gas is leaking.
Turn off the main gas supply valve on your propane tank if it is safe to do so. To close the valve, turn it to the right (clockwise).
From a neighbor's home or other nearby building away from the gas leak, call us right away at (904) 725-9144. If you can't reach us, call 911 or your local fire department.
...until D&D Gas, an emergency responder, or qualified service technician determines that it is safe to do so.
Before you attempt to use any of your propane appliances, D&D Gas or a qualified service technician must check your entire system to ensure that it is leak-free.
Take these steps to protect your family and property before a flood, hurricane or severe storm.
Properly secure the propane tank, if possible.

Fasten the protective dome on the tank.
Turn off appliance pilot lights, control valves and manual shut-off valves.
